An Experimental Study of a Novel System Used for Cooling the Protection Helmet

In this study, a novel experimental model was proposed, built, and tested to present an efficient simple method for cooling protective helmets. The system based on evaporative technique in which water is used as coolant sprayed over canvas covering the outer helmet’s surface. A solar fan provided enhance evaporation rate. results were with main laws of heat mass evaluate transfer rates. proposed compared by other two cases, uncovered dry helmet wet-covered one without using fan. inner surface temperatures reached characterized good level stability being compatible human comfort conditions. addition wet cover led temperature drop both surfaces about 9 degrees, additional 5 degrees. There increases rate 63.3% adding 131.7% after free power consumption simplicity implementation.
